申请资格/Qualification of Applicants
申请者须为持外国因私普通护照的非中国籍公民。
原为中国大陆(内地)、香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区的居民，在移民并获得外国国籍后作为国际学生申请入学的申请者，应于2020年4月30日之前持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件，且申请时须已注销中国户籍，并持有注销中国户籍的证明。
在外国出生时取得外国国籍，出生时父母均为中国公民，或父母一方为中国公民的申请者：申请者父母的中国公民方，须在申请者出生时已取得外国永久居留权*。
*申请者须在申请时提交父母情况材料、申请者本人已经不具有中华人民共和国国籍的相关证明材料和中国户籍注销证明。
注：申请者具有外国国籍的同时是否具有中华人民共和国国籍，以中国公安机关出入境管理部门的国籍认定结论为准。如在申请、录取及入学后被相关部门判定具有中国国籍的或不符合我校申请资格的申请者，将取消其申请资格、录取资格、入学资格或学籍。
申请者应具有与中国学士学位相当的学位。2026年我校研究生新生入学报到日之前必须取得国家承认的学士学位（境内高校）或教育部留学服务中心出具的《国（境）外学历学位认证书》（境外高校），否则录取资格无效。
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid personal ordinary-type passport.
Applicants who were formerly residents of Chinese Mainland, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, or the Taiwan region, and who have immigrated and acquired foreign nationality, must have held a valid foreign passport or other nationality document on or before April 30, 2020. At the time of application, they must already have cancelled their Chinese household registration (hukou) and must provide proof of such cancellation.
Applicants who acquired foreign nationality by birth in a foreign country and whose parents were both Chinese citizens or one parent was a Chinese citizen: the Chinese-citizen parent (s) must have obtained permanent resident status in that foreign country at the time of the applicant's birth.*
*At the time of application, applicants must submit documentation regarding their parents' information, as well as proof of the applicant's relinquishment of the nationality of the People's Republic of China and a certificate of cancellation of the applicant's Chinese household registration (hukou).
Note: Whether an applicant who holds foreign nationality also possesses the nationality of the People’s Republic of China shall be determined by the nationality appraisal issued by the Exit and Entry Administration of the Chinese public-security authorities. If, after application, admission, or enrolment, an applicant is determined to possess Chinese nationality or to be otherwise ineligible, the applicant's application, admission offer, enrolment, or student status will be revoked.
Master's degree program applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor's degree (or above) in China.
The students who will enroll in 2026 must obtain the nationally recognized bachelor's or master's degree（for the universities of Chinese mainland）or the degree authentication report issued by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, Ministry of Education,P.R.China (CSCSE) (https://zwfw.cscse.edu.cn/)(for overseas universities) before Tsinghua graduate student registration date of 2026, otherwise the admission qualification is invalid.

成绩单（中文或英文）
申请者须提交本科期间完整的成绩单。应届生可先提交现阶段成绩单，最终成绩单须在入学前补交。如果上传的成绩单无法直接显示总的GPA成绩，还需提供学校出具的GPA证明文件。
语言能力成绩报告
汉语水平要求如下，满足其一即可：达到HSK5级180分及以上。使用中文完成本科或硕士学习的申请者，须提供毕业学校出具的证明，获得许可后，可免交HSK成绩证明。在其他方面特别优秀者可免除汉语水平要求。注：有意申请奖学金者（例如，中国政府奖学金），须根据奖学金申请要求提供相应的HSK成绩证明。

Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS)

The Tuition Scholarships mainly refer to Beijing Government Scholarship for International Students (BGS) and Tsinghua University Tuition Scholarship. It covers full or partial tuition fees with the duration of one academic year. Applicants may apply for Tuition Scholarships annually (competitive).
Schools/departments select Tuition Scholarship candidates from outstanding pre-admitted applicants.

住宿/Accommodation
因校内房间数量有限，房间申请采取网上预订、先到先得的方式进行。只有在规定时间内预订成功的全日制学生才可入住校内国际学生公寓。未能成功预订国际学生公寓的学生，需自行联系校外住宿。
The University provides on-campus apartments for international students. Due to limited accommodation on campus, dormitory application must be made online on a first come first served basis. If you find an appropriate apartment off-campus to rent, you are free to move there.
